Every month, scores of federal funding opportunity announcements are posted to Grants.gov. Here are five highlights from this week by the Department of the Interior, the Department of Education, National Archives and Records Administration, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Commerce.
This project aims to produce a Historic Resource Study that documents the nineteenth-century history of Fort Stanwix National Monument (NM) and surrounding communities and their association with the Underground Railroad, the antebellum abolitionist movement, and other important social reform movements in central New York before and after the Civil War.
The purpose of this program is to support the development of a financing model to implement new or scale up existing high-quality career and technical education (CTE) projects for Underserved, High-Need Youth (CTE PFS Project). To this end, the Department of Education will award a grant to an intermediary to provide technical assistance for the first two of three phases of a PFS financing model.
The National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) seeks projects that will significantly improve public discovery and use of major historical records collections. All types of historical records are eligible, including documents, photographs, born-digital records, and analog audio and moving images. Projects may digitize historical records collections held by a single institution and make them freely available online; provide access to born-digital records; create new freely-available virtual collections drawn from historical records held by multiple institutions; or create new tools and methods for users to access records. The NHPRC welcomes collaborative projects, particularly for bringing together related records from multiple institutions.
This funding opportunity is for U.S. non-profit organizations interested in entering into a Technology Investment Agreement (TIA), pursuant to 10 USC §2371, for the purpose of establishing a state-of-the-art, end-to-end, sustainable Manufacturing Innovation Institute (MII) in support of Robots in Manufacturing Environments.
