With the recent New Year Holiday now in the rearview mirror, we want to let you, the grants community, know what you can look forward to from Grants.gov in 2017.
1. Applying with online forms in Workspace will become the standard way to apply for grants on Grants.gov.
Complete your application package in Workspace with the option of filling out individual, online forms or individual, fillable PDF forms. For more detailed information, review the Workspace Overview page.
2. S2S web services will remain in place and continue to receive updates, as necessary.
For more information about S2S, read the S2S page.
3. The legacy application package method will be retired in December 2017.
The old application method is being phased out – while Workspace becomes the new, standard way to apply. Only the big, single, stitched PDF application package is being retired. For more information, head over to the Grants.gov Notices page.
4. Improved User Access Management (UAM) is coming to simplify your log in and account management experience.
To clean up and improve your Grants.gov accounts and experience, Release 15.4 is focused on UAM. If you would like more information about this, read the Release 15.4 Preview: Streamlined Account Management Comes to Grants.gov blog article.
As always, thanks for all you do to help make Grants.gov great! If you have questions, suggestions, or feedback please post a comment below or use the Contact Us page. Comment Policy and Privacy Notice page.
