As of this morning, February 9, 2018, there are over 2,000 federal funding opportunities open on Grants.gov. Below are four new grants posted this week for you to consider. Before investing time to apply, be sure to confirm that you are eligible to receive the award.

Opportunity: Head Start and/or Early Head Start Grantee – Queens County, New York

Purpose: “Head Start programs promote school readiness of children ages birth to five from low-income families by supporting their development in a comprehensive way. Head Start and Early Head Start programs offer a variety of service models, depending on the needs of the local community.” (Head Start Program)

Agency: USDA Washington State Office

Opportunity: Kansas 2018 Conservation Innovation Grant (CIG)

Purpose: To stimulate the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies.

 

Close Date: May 11, 2018

Agency: DOD Office of Naval Research

Opportunity: Advancing Artificial Intelligence for the Naval Domain

Purpose: To develop a principled computational framework for integrating domain knowledge and machine learning for fast and robust learning of diverse, complex concepts and tasks with light supervision.

 

Close Date: March 23, 2018

Agency: USAID-Cotonou

Opportunity: Integrated Health Services

Purpose: To strengthen the delivery of high-impact malaria, family planning, maternal and child health, and gender-based violence (GBV) services in the public sector in four departments in Benin.

    1. You will need to create/register an account on Grants.gov and then re-create your saved search notifications. As of the last release, accounts are required in order to receive notifications about funding opportunities. (Previously, you were not required to create an account — you only needed to list an email.) Here’s how to register: https://www.grants.gov/web/grants/register.html

      1. I have an account. I’ve had an account since 2008. I also created a new one at the beginning of the year and that is why I made the comment.

      2. As mentioned in the previous reply, you will need to log in and recreate your saved search notifications. If you recreated your saved search notifications after Nov. 20 and are still not receiving the emails, then we recommend contacting the Grants.gov Support team, as they can access your account and determine the issue: call 1-800-518-4726 or send an email to support@grants.gov.
