Federal funding opportunities that support a range of scientific research were posted to Grants.gov this week. These grants from NSF, NIH, and DOD fund research in the areas of biology and statistics, modeling infectious disease agents, breast cancer, and several more listed below.

Agency: National Science Foundation (NSF)

Purpose: “To promote the progress of science; to advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare; and to secure the national defense.” (NSF.gov)

Opportunities: Combinatorics, Foundations, Mathematical Biology, Probability, Statistics, or view all current NSF opportunities here.

Agency: HHS’ National Institutes for Health (NIH)

Purpose: “To seek fundamental knowledge about the nature and behavior of living systems and the application of that knowledge to enhance health, lengthen life, and reduce illness and disability.” (NIH.gov)

Hello I got a call from telephone number from Maryland 708-740-0124 by Adam Charles saying that I was awarded 14.566 in a grant from the government from apples but I would have to submit $400 for what reason I don’t know if it was a grant that’s free why can’t they take that out of the grant I don’t understand if this true or is this a scam
