Note: This blog post was updated on January 3, 2020 to indicate that the latest Grants.gov mobile app update has been released.
As users of the Grants.gov system know, there are a wide array of notifications that an applicant can receive during the lifecycle of their applications.
- Users can receive notifications about the successful submission of an application.
- Users can receive notifications when a workspace has been completed by a member of one’s applicant team and is ready to submit. (The mobile app user must have Submit privileges in order to receive this notification.)
- Users can receive nightly notifications about new opportunities published on Grants.gov and flagged by saved search criteria.
- Users can receive notifications when changes are made to an opportunity they have subscribed to.
With the new update, users will also be able to receive additional in-app notifications when a system alert or monthly newsletter has been published via email.
Of course, any of these notifications can be turned off via the Settings section of the mobile app.
